Difference between Enojarse and Enfadarse...

What is the difference between enfadarse and enojarse? ....Is there a reason why one verb is used in Spain (enfadarse) and the other used in the Americas (enojarse)?

In Mexico, they are both used. The best difference I can offer is Enojarse....To get angry. Enfadarse.....To become irriated. Anger can happen immediately, where irritation usually takes some time.
