With this phrase do you use the imperfect or the preterite tense? If you use the preterite tense do you use the subjunctive?

Since "I brought it" is a completed, non-habitual action, it would use the preterite tense. The second verb would come after "antes de que," and out of my understanding, whenever "antes de que" is used it always requires subjunctive, so the second verb would be in the past subjunctive.

Is there a past subjunctive? I thought there was only an Imperfect one? - indysidnarayan, MAY 7, 2010
