Smiley faces don't work in PM

Question

I use the smiley faces from the menu all the time on Span¡shD!ict, but when I send a private message, the menu doesn't seem to work. I can open the menu and get a list of faces, but when I click on them nothing happens in the message. I can use the standard keyboard instructions of colon and parenthesis and get some of the faces, but I don't know how to get a smiley with shades, etc.

I'm using Firefox.

Is this a known problem? Obviously, it isn't a major issue, but it would be fun to have access to all the faces.

HI Calvo, yes you are right. Niz, it does not work, and has never worked, with any other browser either. let's see if we can get that fixed in summer, we are getting some becarios. so that will be fun

I know some short cuts, so I can do them, here are some, don't do spaces!!

I use internet explorer and that is how it has been for a long time with me.I do not smile much so it has not been an issue with me
