Well if I wanted to say "I like to swim". I would say "me gusta nadar". Literally, you're saying that "swimming is pleasing to me." So, with every reflexive verb, the action that's happening is "pleasing"(gustar) to you or whatever the verb means. As for in the sentence, if the verb is conjugated, it goes in front of the conjugated verb. If you have the stem, then you attach it like so: "Puedo darte un beso?" which means "Can i give you a kiss?" Also, with the command form, you attach it to the verb unless it is the negative like so: "Dame comida" which means "give me food" or "no me digas eso" which means "don't tell me that". Hope this helps.
