What is the meaning of "no tener razón?" As far as I can tell, it's "it doesn't have reason" or as we would say in English "it doesn't make sense." Am I on target?

Tener razón to be right No tener razón not to be right or to be wrong. However for to be wrong I prefer Estar equivcado.
