Why do some verbs use Yo me?
Why do some verbs use Yo me ... and others just use Yo.. For example:
Levantarse - to get up Yo me levanto
Ir - to go Yo digo

The ones that end with -se in the infinitive, like levantarse, are called reflexive. They're generally things you do to you yourself. Yo me levanto - I get myself up, literally.
It's kind of a fuzzy line. In some places some people use the reflexive form a lot, even when it isn't necessarily required, for emphasis. Voy - I'm going. Me voy - I'm coming, already!
