My experience says "aguacate" in Spain, "palta" in Argentina and Chile and the rest I don't have much experience of. I think I ate avocado in Panama once but we arrived late, around 4 AM and I don't think I was very receptive at the time.

She won't find it there, because that's not correct English, nor Spanish. Trying looking for "avocado" in the dictionary, instead. :-) - Gekkosan, May 4, 2010
Ahhh...I missed the spellling mistake; otherwise, I would have at least given her the correct spelling. - --Mariana--, May 4, 2010
But if you double click it in her title, it still gives you the correct word, even though avocado is misspelled! - Goyo, May 4, 2010
Jeje Gekko - "avacado" is alive and well in the dictionary, meaning "cow-like". - geofc, May 4, 2010
You're kidding me. "Cow-like" Are you serious?? - Gekkosan, May 4, 2010
Holy smokes, it's true! Now that was a sure recipe to confuse poor JC!! :-) - Gekkosan, May 4, 2010
So..... avacado = comovaca? Somehow that seems to make sense. - Goyo, May 4, 2010
Sorry for delay Gekko - did you check the dictionary? - geofc, May 4, 2010
