"I never thought about what that meant before"

I am trying to say "I never thought about what that meant before." And here is my attempt: "Yo nunca pensaba acerca que eso significaba antes." Eso es correcto? Often when I try to translate things it's the conjunctions that I have trouble with. Also the conjugating is dificil! Pero practice makes perfect. Gracias!

I could be wrong but "Nunca he pensado sobre lo que significaba eso antes de ahora" A cerca de is OK, not a cerca que.

or

Antes nunca pensaba de lo que significaba eso.
