Hi Tremor and welcome to the forum!
Whether or not you should use an infinitive after "después de" depends on what you are trying to say. It is a common combination to use an infinitive but not the only possible combination. For example: Después de mí, él es lo mas grande - After me, he is the tallest.
I'm sure there are even more possibilities.
