Hi Jane,
Do you have a question or are you just telling us the conjugation for "ir?"
The difference that "piano123" said is correct, but I would like to add something else. She's said that "vosotros" is hardly used.. instead it's used "ustedes"; but in Spain it's completely normal use "vosotros"; we only say "ustedes" in a very formal way...
Nosotros is like saying "We." Nosotros tenemos ir al parque. (We have to go to the park).
Vosotros is like y'all--as in more than one "you." Vosotros vais a la tienda. (Y'all go to the store.) At least in my Spanish classes, vosotros was rarely, if ever, used. Ustedes is a much more common way of expressing the same idea.
You'd use "vamos" to stay you are going somewhere or going to do something-- Vamos a calificar las pruebas. (We are going to grade the quizzes). I'm sure there's a video on here somewhere about "Ir + a."
And yes, I can use ir in a sentence three times. I'm sure you can figure it out too (:
Hey,
I find your post very helpful.
Can you answer me this though:
- What is the difference between 'nosotros' and 'vosotros' ?
- What about 'Vamos'? What's the correct way to use it?
- Can you use 'Ir' in a sentence three times?
Thanks
