¡Hola a todos!

¿Es correcto decir, son puestos introducidos o son puestos introducido? El contexto está abajo:

Son puestos introducidos de organismo agentes patógenos como la salmonella.

Gracias,

Kerri

Kerri, was your original sentence something like "se pueden introducir organismos agentes patógenos como la salmonella"?

I am wondering if you are trying to take "pueden" and turn it into a past participle, and if you have confused it with the past participle of "poner" (to put)?

If this is the case, what you want to do is take "introducir" and use that part participle. In English you would have "are introduced".

Maybe this helps? Gekkosan is correct in that "puestos" makes no sense in that context.

Excuse my ignorance - what's a "puesto"?

It has a few definitions--it's the participle of poner, and as a noun it can mean post/position or stall/stand. There's some doubt about whether it's being used properly here. (Well, there's a lot of doubt, actually. It makes no sense in this conext.) - MacFadden, May 2, 2010

Kerri, if you just want to decide between "puestos introducidos", and "son puestos introducido", then the former is correct. Puestos introducidos.

However, the truth is that the whole sentence you quote above doesn't make sense to me. There is something wrong with "puestos introducidos de organismo". What do you wish to say with that?

Es un ejercicio de tarea. La forma original es "se pueden introducir..." y hay que usar la voz pasiva, ser + participio. - Kerri, May 2, 2010
Yes, I was expecting something regarding open-air stalls... - mountaingirl123, May 2, 2010
