How to use "Ya" and "Que" in other ways?
I watch a lot of english movies with spanish subtitles to develop my spanish and I see them using Que a lot . sometimes the Que in english would literally translate to a "to". Besides "What" and "that" , i don't get how Que is used in other places. I see it as just been thrown in and adding nothing to the meaning.
Besides Ya meaning Already , How else do we use it ? I see it also being used a lot but not literally translating into a "Already" or anything regarding the present time.

The phrase "ya que..." is used as the conjuction "since" in some cases...
other definitions of "ya que"
as, for, since, in that, seeing that/as
for example:
El tabaco puede producir insomnia ya que la nicotina destruye células nerviosas que son esenciales al buen funcionamiento cerebral.
Tobacco can produce insomnia since nicotine destroys nerve cells that are essential to good brain function.
um, could you be more specific?
Que is used in a lot of ways, sometimes in random expressions like
tener que=to have to
also in things like
desde que te conocí: since I missed you (in English we don´t need a that, but Spanish uses que a lot more).
yo voy a quedarme aquí hasta que él llegue: I´ll stay here until he arrives.
As for ya, people just seem to tack it on to a lot of expressions for emphasis, like ya te tengo (I have you now)
