Thanks for all the help on the first part of my story. Here's the second part--again, any help on grammar, conjugating, etc. is much appreciated grin

Marisol's sister Gabriella is in the living room. She hanging red, white, and green streamers. "Hello, Marisol," she says. "Will you inflate those ballons, please?"

A few hours later, Marisol and her family leave for the city square to watch the parade. The air is filled with the sounds of people laughing and talking happily. Mama and Papa buy little flags for Marisol and Gabriella.

Finally, the parade begins. There are many entertainers, such as marching bands, dancers, and soldiers.

After the parade, all of Marisol's family goes to her house for a fiesta. They eat her mother's delicious cooking--mole, tamales, and tres leche cake. Abuelo tells the story of the Battle of Puebla.

At the end of the day, Marisol hangs up her little flag and goes to bed.
