Based on your other post, I'm going to assume you mean in Spanish...

So the "-ing form", or gerund, is formed by adding "-ndo" to Spanish verbs. Try googling "-ndo form" to find lots of excersizes related to this.

The gerund is not used in Spanish the way it is English, which is why I am not going into much detail about it. The present tense conjugation of verbs is used much more often than the progressive tense.

If you are trying to say something like "I like swimming" or "One of my hobbies is reading", in Spanish you don't use the gerund. You would say "Me gusta nadar [or el nadar]" and "Alguno de mis pasatiempos favaritos es leer". You would NEVER say "Me gusta nadando".

Hope this helps some.

For ar verbs you add "ando" for ir/er verbs you add "iendo" - ian-hill, Apr 30, 2010

The Spanish present participle of regular verbs is formed removing the -ar ending and replacing it with -ando, or by removing the -er or -ir ending and replacing it with -iendo.

Present participle-gerundio

You question, however, looks to me as if you are asking how to form the present participle in English. If so, please clarify your question.

In Spanish there are many irregular present participles. Read the article to address how to handle stem changing verbs in forming the Spanish present participle (gerundio).
