Me alegro que puedo agradecer estar holgazana; cuando era más joven pensaba que tenía que estar ocupada todo el tiempo.

I'm glad I can appreciate being idle; when I was younger I thought I had to be busy all the time.

It took me many years to appreciate this aspect of life (in fact, many years before I had the time to appreciate it ), hopefully if my español is completely off track some kind person will put me straight!
