Am I translating this correctly?

For a project I need to say, " My favorite project was the Commedia dell' Arte scene for Theatre History." I know Commedia dell' Arte cant be translated into spanish (its itallian) but I have tried to translate the rest. I have: Mi trabajo favorito este la escena de Commedia dell' Arte para la historia de teatro. Thanks for the help!

I think the best would be:
Mi proyecto favorito fue.... la (the) or esta (this)....escena de Commedia dell' Arte para la historia del teatro.
So you pretty much got it.
