Shouldn't the phrase that shows the context of today's Word of the Day, la jeringuilla, read "...E insulina" instead of "...Y insulina"

it is written as follows on the website: Mi padre siempre lleva una jeringuilla y insulina porque tiene diabetes. - My father always carries a syringe and insulin because he has diabetes

Yes it should be. Somebody's post was wrong. You can go on there and comment on their post and tell them.
