Explanation of reference to Franco
I was watching a 7 Vidas and I'm trying to understand a reference to Franco which has gone over my head because I don't know much about him. I mean, I know who he was, but I don't see how Paco is acting like him in this situation. The situation is: a pretentious guy has just tried to pay for drinks with a large bill for which no one has change, and Paco is making fun of him, saying he's been trying to use that same bill forever and is just trying to impress people. Carlota comes to the guy's defense, and the following conversation takes place:
Carlota: Tú eres un exagerado. Porque eso no es verdad. Lo que pasa es que le gusta llevar billetes grandes. Paco: Carlota, no pluralices, ¿eh? Lleva uno... grande, pero uno. Sole: Paco, por favor, que pareces Franco.
When Paco says the above line, he makes a few little gestures with his hand, moving his hand side to side when he says "grande" and up and down when he says "uno."
Did Franco make little gestures than when he talked, or was it something about the "grande, pero uno" line? Thanks.
