"grammar" in Spanish?

In America, we have a school subject called English where we study grammar and how to interpret literature. What do you call that class in Spanish-speaking countries? Thank you!

Well "grammar" is gramática, but I'm not familiar with the interpretation of literature being studied under the same heading. I would call the subject of a class that focused on interpretation of literature literatura. Hope this helps.
