Step-grandfather

i have an árbol genealógico (family tree) project due tommorow and i need to have my stepgrandfather on there but the problem is that i dont know how to spell or say stepgrandfather in spanish!!!!!HELP PLZ

I'd guess abuelastro because the "astro" ending seems to signify the "step" like hermanastro or padrastro (stepbrother and stepfather).

Hope someone will have a definitive answer for this - I never had a stepgrandfather but I certainly am one. Ninefold.

How come Heidita failed to pop up and tell myangel to get the spelling right?

Oh! and indisidnaray - the on-board dictionary says "padrastro" with an extra "r".

MyAngel, this is a language learning site so correct punctuation and capitalization are very important here.
