Duda en vocabulario

Estoy traduciendo una frase del inglés al español y tengo duda en como traducir "La enseñanza del inglés es de interés para los directivos" tomando en cuenta que por directivos se entiende a los directores de los colegios. Mi opción es: "English teaching interests to school officials" Es correcto?

"English teaching is of interest to school officials" is what I got from it. I think you're right.
