I've just forgotten what I was going to say

I've got my A-level oral exam tomorow and, when my nerves make me forget all my spanish, I think it would be a good idea to explain my dumb silence spanish style!

Por lo tanto... would someone be able to translate:

"I'm sorry, I've just forgotten what I was going to say..."

or

"I've messed up; I'm going to start again"

Cheers in advance... I hope I can at least manage to make my failure soud impressive smile

You'll do fine. To say, "I'm sorry, I've just forgotten what I was just going to say," I would say, Perdone, se me ha olvidado lo que iba a decir. And, for "I've messed up; I'm going to start again"," I would say, He cometido un error. Empezaré/Voy a empezar de nuevo.

Good luck on your exam!
