I am going to a concert by that name. Wouldn't that word be redundant? I looked up the definition and it said pachanga is a noun, so... why do they put the two words together like that? Just bugs me! Gracias y hasta luego!

Hola,
I think that fest is just "celebration", for example "beerfest", "octoberfest", "whateverfest". This is a celebration that will include "pachanga".

its the way they talk i asked that same thing and i learned the difference by going to mexico
