¿Llegué demasiado temprano? Ella dice: No, llegaste exactamente bien

So llegaste exactamente bien = You arrived exactly on time here?

You arrived exactly good/well doesn't make any sense to me.

Jeezle, if you examine the meaning of "exactamente", you will find a lot of shades to its meaning which include understandable definitions to answer the question for you...

exactamente = exactly, accurately, precisely, punctually, correctly, truly, right, just

bien = well, O.K., fine, good, all right, quite right, excellently, in a good manner, appropriately, properly, nicely, pleasently, alright

So "exactamente bien" could mean "punctually fine"

Maybe this makes better sense...I hope I have helped.

Good question. I always thought it was "a tiempo"

I use "a punto" for on time mostly but this is from Pimsleur and it seems odd to me. - jeezzle, Apr 22, 2010

1) I agree with sunshinzmomm - I'd expect to have arrived "exactamente a tiempo" or maybe "a la hora exacta" 2) but try this for sound - "no, llegaste exactamente. --------- Bien" 3) or even - "no llegaste exactamente. ----- Bien"

Well, it's from Pimsleurs final lesson, and I wrote it just how they said it, but I can see this way too. - jeezzle, Apr 22, 2010
