Tendría que...
I thought this would be translated "I would have..." since it is the conditional tense of "tener". The translation I found (both here and in an English-language version of the same book) was "I SHOULD have...". Is this because "que" is added?
Here is the entire sentence, and what I remember the translation to be:
"Tendría que haberlo al momento."
"I should have had it (known it?) at that moment."
Gracias por su ayuda.

You're right about the 'que'.
Tengo = I have; Tengo que = I have to (do something);
therefore;
Tendría = I would have (an object); Tendría que = I should have (done something);
I should have known it at that moment....Lo debía haber sabido a tal momento
I would have to work if it were Monday.........Tendría que trabajar si fuera lunes
