In honor of in-laws
I just read about the recent passing of Moe's mother-in-law. I have been pondering the relationships we have with our in-laws.

My father-in-law is an extraordinary man. He is about 85 years old and fiercely independent. He enlisted in the army when he was 17 yewars old after the attack on Pearl Harbor (he lied about his age) and he fought on Guadalcanal. He is stubborn, generous, and he expresses his opinions clearly.

I don't have any in-laws because my husband's parents are dead. However, my husband says that my mother, his mother-in-law, is one of his very favorite people in the world.
