Anyone know about "feria de abril"?
I was on GoogleSpain and I saw the "picture of the day" or whatever you want to call the picture Google puts on the homepage during a holiday or special day. This is the picture for today (4/19/10):
The caption for the picture is "feria de abril".
I think it is only celebrated it Spain... It was not on the English web page, nor Mexico's nor Puerto Rico's. Does anyone know something about :La Feria de Abril (April Fair) and wouldn't mind explaining a bit about it (it must be a big event for Google to post it as the picture on the homepage. Has anyone gone? Was it fun? Was it much different than any ordinary fair?

IT is celebrated in Seville, Spain mainly. It's a huge parade with many costumes and dancing. Its also knows as " La Feria de Priamavera" or "The Spring Fair" http://www.spanish-fiestas.com/spanish-festivals/seville-april-fair.htm
Go to the link or just google it
I had to do a project on this for my Spanish Class
