That is not an easy question (either) Spanish!

The differences are many, although altogether the similarities are more, since it is one and the same language.
There are important differences in pronunciation, and many words that are used differently (eg. "Piso" means "ground" in Puerto Rico, and "apartment" in Spain). There are also a number of idioms that exist in one place and not in the other.
It is very much like asking what is the difference between London English, and Louisiana English.
I think we focus too much on differences some times. With about 8 or nine Spanish speaking countries represented in my church, we focus on the common Spanish.
There are different 'dialects' of Spanish as there is in English. Just how people in Australia, England and the U.S. all speak English, the English is different. The English (people from England); for example, say 'hoover' instead of 'vacuum'. Also, people in Australia, England and the U.S. generally have different accents.
This is the same for Spanish. This is the same with Spanish for all Spanish-speaking countries, not just Spain and Puerto Rico. There are different words for some things. In Spain, 'z'. 'ci' and 'ce' are pronounced as 'th'.Spain also has the 'vosotros' (you- familiar, plural) form of verbs. **"Vosotros" is only used in Spain!*
