why would someone say 'me gusta manear'?
It is in a Manu Chao song: Me gustas tu. But why would someone say they like to hobble?

I Googled the lyrics and found that what the line says is:
"Me gusta mEnear."
You can check out that meaning here ----> menear
me gusta menear --> I like to wriggle
By the way, me gusta colombiana does not mean I like Shakira.
Te mando un enlace de su canción con la letra:
Manu Chao dice:menear pero cualquiera sabe lo que quiere decir, menear significa mover:
"voy a menear las caderas "(=voy a bailar)
"una chica que tiene un meneo"(= she´s very hot)
el canta 'menear', no manear - I like to move ![]()
Or, if the beginning vowel sounds like an a instead of an e to you, he might be saying be manejar. I haven't heard the song. In that case it would mean he likes to drive. Enjoying driving around isn't so weird. But menear also makes sense, and if that's what the lyrics are listed as on a few lyrics sites, that's probably what it is.
mañear means "to act with craft". Maybe that was the word. They may also want to hobble someone to trip them up or other things best discussed elsewhere.
