Literaly: "La vida es simple, sólo que no es fácil"

Other options:

"La vida es simple, pero no fácil."

"La vida es simple, no fácil."

"La vida es simple, aunque no es fácil."

Hi Salazar...please don't forget to use proper capitalization in your posts. Thanks! - --Mariana--, Apr 15, 2010
Salazar, in this case "solo" does not refer to life, as in "la vida sola". It means "just", or "only". - Gekkosan, Apr 15, 2010
'solo' because it's an adverb and (unlike adjectives, doesn't agree with anything). - Basically, what Gekkosan said. - samdie, Apr 15, 2010

The way you wrote it, this means "life it simple, but not easy by oneself (feminine)" - Gekkosan, Apr 15, 2010
