It could also mean the directory path to where the thumbnail is stored. However, in that case, the expression is somewhat odd. A thumbnail is simply an image (albeit, small). Its (directory) path is in no way special. As far as directory paths go, they're all equal, be it to a text file, an image, a program, etc. Anything stored on a disk has an associated path.

Do you mean "thumbnail" as in thumbnails where you have a miniature icon that opens up into an image?

By "path" do you mean the software/programming path, the link?

I'd venture caminos miniaturas but that's an outside guess as I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, sorry.
