and I was like...

and I was like...

In English, when we recount a story we often say this phrase 'and I was like...'

'and I was like, 'Really! Are you serious? How did that happen!?'

'and I was like, 'Well... no, I don't think it's a good idea'

etc...

Can you say in Spanish

'Y estoy como...'

We were here once before with the word "like" and its many uses.

Someone in the USA did a thesis on this word alone. Amazing like! grin grin

I tried to Google it but no luck.
