place. it has similar idiomatic use as english, but not totally the same, so be careful!

Place is correct, but Lugar can also mean room or space, ie: "There is no more room on this bus, so you'll have to wait for the next one."
"Ya no hay lugar en este autobús, así que tendrá que esperar el próximo."

lugar = place. You could look up words like this in the dictionary without having to wait for an answer.
