Spain conjugation of "ir"

Spain conjugation of "ir"

I have just completed lesson 1.7 in Spanish 1. While I don't doubt that it is accurate, I was surprised when they showed the plural Spain vosotros form with an accent over the a: váis. For years, I have been learning that it was vais. The pronunciation was even different: vay. This, of course, is pronounced vah-eese.

Is this a variation? What is more common? Does anyone know how the Spain spanish conjugate and pronounce this?

I agree with Fidalgo. The lesson shows the error at 6:40 on the lesson time guide.

I checked 4 different verb conjugators and could not find any that use "VÁIS" for that conjugation.

I am changing your question catagory to "Website Questions and Feedback". I will also send a Private Message (PM) directly to Paralee. She responds vey quickly to any fixes required in the Lesson material.

Would you care to guess how many of us have seen this and probably did not even identify the problem?? I'm guilty.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Well, I'm glad I asked and didn't assume it was correct! Thanks for answering and taking the initiative to correct it.
