How to say 'coming soon' eg veniendo pronto, venida pronto.

I am wodering how to say 'coming soon'. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there,

Coming soon is translated (in Spain) as "muy pronto" when it is about a film or a book when it is about to be released. i.e. "Titanic, muy pronto (en tu cine)", meaning "Titanic, coming soon, at your cinema"

The verb "venir" is a verb that implies movement in Spanish, meaning only alive things can come. That means it wouldn't be correct to say "el disco / el libro está viniendo pronto" simply because an album or a book are not alive.

When you talk about someone who is coming soon to see you then it is correct to say "venir pronto". Example: I'm glad Helen is coming to London soon = me alegra que Helen venga pronto a Londres.

Hi Richard,

To announce a future website I would say "Web en construcción, disponible muy pronto"
or "Esta web estará disponible muy pronto" (= web under construction, coming soon / This website will be available very soon)

In this case "coming soon" doesn't have a "word by word" translation, as again, the website cannot move, cannot walk, is not alive
