Follow this link ----> hemoglobina to our dictionary. There beside the word "hemoglobina" you will see a small image of a sound speaker. Click on the speaker and you will hear the word pronounced.

When you hear it you will hear it say "he mo glo BI na". And this is how it should be pronounced. In this case, no accent mark (or tilde) is required.

Well, that's why I asked the question. When I listen to the pronounciation of hemoglobina from your link (which is the one I heard yesterday) I hear hemoGLObina. Is it possible that the recording of the word is in error? Please listen to the recording - vkarnes54, Apr 10, 2010
