Hi snow, well, the sh does not really exist in Spanish, so we just say s.

ph= f

ch is different, that is a proper letter in Spanish, it is pronounced like in: choke

Here is a way to hear the sounds you want pronounced.

Make a list of words containing the sounds you want to hear pronounced. Make your list in one of the answer windows to this question, then save that as an answer. Say two words for each sound for a total of six words. Then do this:

  • Place you cursor on any one of the words “selected word”.
  • ”Double-Click” on the “selected word”.
  • In the narrow blue window that opens, “single click” on the “selected word”.

  • You should now see the selected word in the dictionary. Beside the selected word is a small icon that represents a sound speaker.
  • Click on the speaker and it will say the selected word through a speach synthesizer.

In this way, you can hear any sound and any word now and in the future.

Have some fun.

Muchos saludos/Best regards,

Moe
