I wanna translate "I need you to need me" to spanish, and i'm in doubt that

should i say : (Te) necesito que me necesites. (subjuntivo) or (Te) necesito que me necesitas (indicativo) ?

And i need little explanation about that.

As Isabel said, it should be in subjuctive case: "Necesito que me necesites."

By the way like Julian has explicited, the sentence "Necesito que me necesites" could be expanded in order to explain it to "Yo necesito que me necesites" and NOT "Te necesito que me necesites".

"Te" doesn't apply here....

Don't quote me but you use the subjunctive. It is something that you want to happen however it hasn't yet happened so isn't factual therefore you use the sj. It is a term of want therefore you must use sj.

In this case it isn't so much a matter of being factual or not but a matter of volition. I need you to... is similar to te dije que or a command. - 0074b507, Apr 9, 2010
