Introductions and conclusions are a necessary part of any compostion.
I think that just sounds like a good composition priniciple no matter what language you are using.
You definitely should. This site is a great tool. When writing a composition, or if you have homework problems, you can post your answers and have others proofread it (you want to make sure that you put in your effort and do the work you are suppose to do beforehand, of course). That way, you can get valuable feedback from Native Speakers and people who are very advanced in either English or Spanish on things that you otherwise would not think of. For example, in English, it's a good rule to essays in the third person, however this is not the case in Spanish a lot of the times. So, small things like that can really make a difference in learning a language or getting a jump-start to whatever task you set out to accomplish.
