Disabling code

Question

I'm having a tough time trying to figure out what the translation for this would be.

A disabling code is similar to a virus, it is a program that works in the background attacking computer software disabling various programs.

I was thinking about a código deshabilitante or código de descapacitación, but those don't seem right. I have tried a google search and various online translators to find some other translation, but without knowing the term in Spanish it is difficult to find something, and with what I have, there is nothing that I can find to verify my translation.

No estoy 100% segura pero puede ser algo como "código de inhabilitación".

inhabilitación. 1. f. Acción y efecto de inhabilitar. 2. f. Der. Pena o castigo que priva de algunos derechos. 3. f. Der. Incapacitación para ejercer diversos empleos.
