1st floor and 2nd floor help!

Question

I’ve been told that you can say the 1st floor of a house as “la planta baja” or that some call it “el primer piso.” If you call the 1st floor “la planta baja” then the 2nd floor is called “el primer piso.”

If you call the 1st floor “el primer piso” would you call the 2nd floor “el segundo piso?”

What do you guys call your 1st floor and 2nd floor in Spanish?

You can say it both ways: "planta baja o primer piso" and for the 2nd floor you can say: either "segundo piso" or "planta alta" more commonly use (at least in Mexico) are: "primer piso y segundo piso"
