We don't have a context so it is hard to decipher, but I think it might also mean something like electrical outlet...

Possibly:

Toma can mean an inlet or outlet Bocal can mean a pitcher or jar.

How about...the mouth of a jar. Just a thought!!

Could be a container used to keep the saliva sample in, then.

that is a tough one. When I googled the phrase the site that came the closest to using the phrase was related to collecting saliva for DNA sample. toma can be interpreted as an amount equivalent to the dose. bocal is a container. Maybe a little more context would help.
