how do you write the accentos and those things when typing in spanish

Like how do you Put an accento over the vowels or a tilde over the n when typing a paragraph in spanish.

Like Sanlee said, you can use the buttons on the bottom of the pages on sites like these. If you are using MS word or any word processor, you can find the special letters in the symbols category. There is also a spanish setting you can set it to. Macs have special quick-button combinations, but you would have to look those up. Hope you use them well!

Welcome to the forum, Secoya.

Yes, please do follow Sanlee's advice when typing something inside SpanishDict, except that I don't think those features are available when you are in the Comment frame. Also, I recently discovered that if you are typing in Word, if you set the language into Spanish, those accents or tildes appear automatically. In my case though, since I am just learning the language, I think it would be to my advantage if I learn when or where to place them without the help of that Word feature. To do that in Word, I go to the Symbols chart instead.

OR the easiest way for accents, is to type Alt Gr plus the letter.

So for á : press 'Alt Gr' and 'a' simultaneously. Facil!¡

To get the rest using MS, go to Start > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map, and you'll find them (áéíóúñ¿¡) and their shortcuts. ¡Buena suerte!

Are you using Windows? I installed the international keyboard...then when I need an accent i just type the apostrophe key and then the letter and there it is. If you want to actually use the apostrophe you will have to type it and then add a space before the next letter. For the tilde you type the tile then the letter n and there it is ñ, á, é, í,ó

For the upside down question mark you use the right alt key, holding down while typing the ? ..you do NOT use the shift key just the right alt and hold down while typing the ? ¿

Same rule for upside down exclamation mark ¡ Right alt held down while typing the exclamation...no Shift

To install click on > (this is my symbol for click on) > Start> control panel>Clock, language and Region>chose tab on top that says "Keyboards and languages"> change keyboards>Add> choose United States-International. apply> ok>ok and you are setup. I have installed it as my defalt, you do NOT want the Spanish Keyboard because the keys are in different places
