They are all words with a palindrome after the first letter. Right? Move the first letter to the end and you have the same word. spelt backwords. ananaB

An applause for Ian Hill. This was not easy by any means.

Well done Ian.

Hats off to Ian Hill. What was the other 1%, Eddy? - 00d7cd75, Apr 5, 2010
Ian had the palindrome by remoing the first letter, but imitially he didn't put it at the end of the word to form the same word backwards. - Eddy, Apr 6, 2010

How about this: Take off the first letter of each word, and the remaining letters read the same way forwards and backwards.

Ian-Hill already answered the puzzle correctly. - --Mariana--, Apr 5, 2010
Look at Ian Hill´s answer under most votes. - Eddy, Apr 5, 2010
According to post 4 and 5, it is only 90% correct and they want more guesses. - sanlee, Apr 5, 2010
Is that OK, or should I take remove this (I'm not sure I know how to do that). - sanlee, Apr 5, 2010

The second letter in each word is the same as the last letter.

Wow Ian, I am impressed, however, you are only 99% correct. You just need to put the last piece to the jigsaw.

For one thing they repeat letters multiple times. They all have at least two sets of double letters (unless you discount the last one with quads)
