Is there a subtle difference between rostro and cara?

For example I would like to say "in this way you can gaze upon the face of your beautiful wife everyday. " Would I be best to say "en esta manera, podras mirar sobre(la cara o el rostro) de tu esposa hermosa cada dia"?
