Most commonly "felices pascuas" is understood as "Merry Christmas"...

To distinguish... "Pascua Florida" = "Easter"

Felices Pascuas de Resurrección is another way from the dictionary.

Pascua can be any 3-day religious holiday, but is often understood to be Easter.

Semana Santa is a good description since it describes the Easter season and all the important religous meaningful days leading up to the Resurrection.

Because some churches put more emphasis on Good Friday and the suffering of Christ, many other churches choose to use "el Día de Resurrección" to speak specifically about Easter Sunday.

An interesting note: it is very difficult in some countries like Mexico to get anything but fish on Fridays during the Easter season. Just FYI. - katydew, Mar 29, 2013
