Red pepper? like a bell pepper
It's not in the dictionary here, I think it is Pimienta roja??? Any one know, I prefer Mexican Spanish since I have a lot of Mexican children in my classes. jajaja, you should see me teaching...like the time I was teaching colors with fruits and got to my cherry page and was holding up my picture, and of course I'm very animated, and I'm asking them..... Te gusta las cervesas? De que color son estes cerevas? Te gusta comer las cervesas? jajajaja Then I stopped and held the picture in front of my face and turned to the teacher and said "I think I've been saying B...E...E...R!!!!"She said I thought thats what you were saying.....I had to think a minute and then I went right on...Te gusta las ceresas?hahaha I don't ever get my ceresas and cervesas mixed up any more, and this comes from a tee totaler!!! thanks for ALL the help Sharon

Bell pepper is "chile pimiento" and you add "rojo, amarillo or verde" for a specific color.
Así es en mi México. ![]()
pimienta roja

pimienton

I think it's pimiento rojo. Pimiento is a pepper like the fruit. Pimienta is pepper like the pepper shaker.
