How are you? The same as ever.

How are you? The same as ever.

Can I use "the same as ever" as a viable response to "How are you?" I think it would be "Siempre lo mismo". Gracias.

One final question about this. So it seems like "mismo" mostly refers to objects ie....no es la misma cosa..... and igual can refer to both? Es una cosa igual = Es la misma cosa. Somos iguales = we are the same. Siempre estoy igual. Something like that? Thank you.

So couldn't "always the same" "Siempre lo mismo" being used as an answer to "Como estás"? Gracias.

No. In that case it should be "Siempre igual" - Benz, Mar 31, 2010

Igual que siempre (what Gekkosan said, is something to refer too)

Awesome, writing it down. Does "Siempre lo mismo" mean anything viable then? There are 15 million hits for it on Google.

"Siempre lo mismo" means "Always the same". "¿Por qué no comes en la cafetería del trabajo? Porque sirven siempre lo mismo." - Gekkosan, Mar 31, 2010
