Hello Monique, welcome!
Do you have a particular country in mind for these "rice and peas". This is one staple dish in many places, that uses different ingredients and has different names depending on where you are.
The translation tool here (hint - hint) shows "arroz y guisantes". That's one option. There are many others, though, "Arroz con gandules" is another one that comes to mind...
