How do you say 1/2 cup of something, like in recipes?

How would you say "1/2 cup of raisins" (for example)?
Would it be "1/2 taza de pasas" or "1/2 tazas de pasas" or something else?

Welcome to the forum! We always enjoy talking about food... 
To answer your question..."media taza de pasas" is the way to go. You don't start making "taza" plural until you get to "dos tazas". So, for example, "1 1/2 cups" would be "one cup and one half" - "una taza y media".
